Los Muertos Pier, The Newest Icon In Puerto Vallarta
Our Pier on Los Muertos Beach is simply spectacular, quickly became an Icon of Puerto Vallarta offering pedestrian pathways, seating, a waterfront promenade, colorful lighting at night with more than 2,000 square feet of space that extends 320 feet into the ocean; including a landing dock that can berth up to six medium size boats water taxis, fishing charters and private vessels, which cruise to many beautiful beaches around Banderas Bay.
This distinctive pier was designed by the architect José de Jesús Torres Vega, it was inaugurated on January 4th, 2013 with fireworks and music. Already made it to CNN’s list of the most beautiful piers around the world, ranked number six as the perfect scenario for a romantic walk overlooking the characteristically sunsets of Banderas Bay. It provided the stage for several events including a Mardi Gras Party and Gala Vallarta.
