Puerto Vallarta’s Time Capsule!

Puerto Vallarta’s government, along with University of Guadalajara’s Centro Universitario de la Costa and other private entities, will bury a time capsule on September 27, aiming to leave a historical legacy for future generations. The idea is to fill a stainless steel box with symbols of the city’s first 100 years, and unearth it in 2043, during the 125th-anniversary celebrations.

In other news, October is fast approaching and with it a multitude of events. On occasion of October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta will hold a few events to help with awareness, like Pink Wave Cocktail, Let’s Talk About Breast Health, Cocktails at Lujo Lifestyle and Pink Brunch at Bravos. Also, the American School of Puerto Vallarta will host the 2018 edition of its College Fair on Monday, October 8.

This week’s article highlight goes to our list of Non-profits & Charity Groups in and around Puerto Vallarta, these include women’s health and rights, children’s health and advocacy, animal shelters environmental awareness and protection. There is no lack of fundraising activities throughout the year, as well as opportunities for volunteering.
